With a peaceful location far from the craziness of the Patong Beach nightlife, this is an ideal resort for couples or families coming to relax rather than shop and dance. There are several other very good restaurants nearby, so it’s easy to sample around a bit, but many people check in and don’t leave again until their flight is about to leave. Very strong reviews and modest prices for rooms of this size and quality mean that this is a popular choice among relaxing 5-star Phuket resorts.

Reviews for the Sala Phuket Resort and Spa are generally excellent, with nearly everyone praising the resort grounds, the service, and the large villas themselves. Most guests really seem to love the fact that it’s a small enough resort to feel at home, but big enough to have many activity and leisure options.
A small number of guests mention that the food in the restaurant is pricier than it should be, or even not up to 5-star standards, but most reviews praise the restaurant. A few other guests knock points off because this resort is not near the Patong nightlife area, which it isn’t, but it’s not fair to complain about something you should have known before you booked. Overall the Sala Phuket Resort and Spa is a solid choice and very good value for the size of the rooms and the very positive reviews.
