What the reviews say
Reviews for the Royal Phuket Yacht Club Hotel are very good to excellent, almost universally, which is a pleasant surprise considering the modest prices for its beachfront location. Nearly everyone is quite happy with the large and spotless rooms, but most of all the scenic views and direct beach access. Guests are also very pleased with the fact that there are several other restaurants within a very short walk, so there are always options in various price ranges.
The few complaints aren’t really so much complaints as guests acknowledging that parts of the facility are looking a bit worn, which may or may not bother you. It’s also mentioned that there are many stairs to climb for most guests, especially those staying on the top few floors as there are 9 levels but the lift only goes up to 6. Overall, the guest reviews are very positive and very encouraging for a beach resort in Phuket in this price category.
