The Details

Only available through Agoda, this nightly rate is ideal for those looking to enjoy a luxury escape without having to use their entire holiday budget on a hotel. With that said however, this rate is for the month of March, with rate increases present throughout other portions of the year. This means that you’ll want to be careful when choosing other times of the year to visit if you don’t want to pay more than a few hundred a night. Primarily a family resort, you’ll find lots to do right on-site, from dining options to a kids club to various activities and sports to partake in. Because there is so much to do and see within the resort’s bounds, you’ll find that each one helps to sweeten the deal.

Finely decorated rooms with private balconies

Because the resort is so large, you’ll find that there are actually two wings to the resort, the Bhuri Wing and the Thani Wing. The nightly rate that’s discussed in this deal is for the Deluxe room, which is located in the Bhuri Wing of the resort. Though the room sizes do change, every single one comes with a large list of amenities.

Some guest favorites include a private balcony, a mini bar service, a tea and coffee making area, the LCD TV, Wi-Fi access and the air conditioning, which is especially pleasing on those hotter than expected days. There are also a few nice extras included in each room. These are bathroom slippers, a hair dryer, an umbrella, and a bathrobe. Colors throughout the rooms are on the muted and sophisticated side, meaning that you won’t find brightly colored decor, but rather hints of browns, golds and whites.

On-site dining options, activities and beach

Once you leave your room, you’ll find 6 different restaurants and 6 different bars. Because of the wide selection of dining options, you’ll really get to vary what you eat every night of your stay, which can be a big plus for some guests. This is especially good for kids who may be on the picky side. Speaking of children, if you’re traveling with a few of your own, you’ll find delight in knowing that this resort caters to families with babysitting, 4 different kiddy pools and the Chang Nio Kid’s Club where there are lots of different activities for the little ones to enjoy.

Adults will enjoy the on-site spa, the fitness center, and the various classes. These classes include Thai cooking, fruit carving, Thai boxing and stretching. Other activities that you can join in on are water polo, pool volleyball, billiards, snorkeling and tennis. Right outside of the resort you’ll find even more choices with golfing, shopping, and nightlife nearby. If you love a good tour, you’ll want to check out one of the many island hopping adventures offered by local guide services.
