Small and quiet beach resort well suited to families
With only 40 rooms, the Moevenpick Resort Bangtao Beach Phuket is a smaller 5-star resort along the lovely Bangtao Beach. Most of the rooms come complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, and many have a private pool or Jacuzzi, so this is more of a villa resort. Formerly called The Palm Beach Club Hotel, this property is very well suited for families with children.
As a smaller beach resort, it only has 1 restaurant and one swimming pool, but it has shops and other restaurants very nearby, so guests have plenty of choices. This Swiss chain property is known for great service and spotless facilities and rooms, and according to the reviews, this one fits right in. Better for groups and families than for romantic couples, but a good choice all around.
