Modestly priced 5-star resort that is all about golfing
With only 72 rooms and suites, the Mission Hills Phuket Golf Resort & Spa is fairly small for a golf resort, and it’s conveniently located near Phuket’s east coast close to the airport. This is an older resort that is very popular with visitors coming to Asia for a golfing holiday, and its other facilities might be lacking.
Being a smaller resort, it’s notable quiet in the evenings, and the nightlife areas are at least 30 minutes away. There is a restaurant, cafe, pool, and pool bar, so people looking to relax before and after rounds of golf should be well taken care of. There is a spa to help work out the kinks after the golf as well, and a fitness center. The room rates here are very inviting for a 5-star Phuket resort, but non-golfers can probably find better options, while golfers should find it great value.

What the reviews say
Reviews for the Mission Hills Phuket Golf Resort & Spa are very telling and helpful. Nearly everyone says that it’s a lovely and moderately priced resort for those who intend on golfing with at least some regularity, but that there are better choices for non-golfers.
Past guests mention that it’s an impressive resort that might have been even more impressive a few years ago. The food in the restaurants and the spa get middling reviews in general. Overall, prices are very modest for a 5-star golfing resort, so it’s good value for golfers but better avoided by others.
