The location in the upscale Laguna Phuket complex is ideal for active visitors who like variety but also want to avoid the craziness of Patong Beach. The Deluxe rooms here are “cozy” compared to most of the villa resorts in this area, but prices reflect that and are very good value.
The service at the Dusit Thani Laguna Hotel is certainly fitting of the 5-star label, with frequent reports by past guests of the staff going above and beyond to make sure they are happy. The nearby beach and all the water sports activities will keep anyone busy, though those interested more in just relaxing should find this a good choice as well.

What the reviews say
Reviews for the Dusit Thani Laguna Hotel are generally very good, with a trend going in the right direction as of late. In the past a few previous guests mentioned that parts of the resort could use a facelift, and evidently that facelift is complete as of late 2012, and the newer reviews are all very complimentary.
Nearly everyone seems to love the Bang Tao beach near the resort, and the access to the nearby restaurants and facilities at other resorts as well. The rooms here aren’t quite as large as they are at some of the other 5-star resorts in Phuket, but the prices are more modest here as well so it’s to be expected.
