Cape Panwa Hotel

Large and luxurious complex in a secluded peninsula setting

Featuring 204 suites on a large and hilly beachfront complex, the Cape Panwa Hotel is one of the bigger 5-star resorts, and one of the more secluded. They offer 5 different restaurants and 5 different bars along with water sports, a fitness center, and a large Kids Club. Those interested in a luxurious all-in-one resort should find this one ideal.

Each room in this all-suite hotel is very large with a king-size bed and separate sitting area, and they are filled with deluxe amenities like iPod docking stations and daybeds out on the private balcony. The location on a peninsula on the south of Phuket ensures quiet and privacy, yet many tours and sightseeing opportunities are on offer in a close proximity. Room prices are very good value for this category on Phuket, and consistently good reviews are comforting to go along with them.

What the reviews say

Reviews for the Cape Panwa Hotel are very good, which is especially promising considering this is more in the modest price range for 5-star resorts on Phuket. Nearly everyone praises the large rooms and spacious grounds, as well as the attentive service and wide range of facilities.

The only caution that some reviewers point out is that the location is somewhat isolated from most popular places on Phuket. The isolation is ideal for many, especially considering the large number of restaurants and such in the hotel, but for those who envision themselves doing lots of sightseeing and traveling around the island, this might not be a great location.
